Greetings to everyone,

Well, Department Convention is now history!  What a great event it was!  I want to say special thanks to Jan & Diane for conducting such a beautiful installation ceremony. Thanks to everyone that attended.  It was nice to see so many people there. 

Our year has officially begun.  It was such an honor to stand with Department Legion Commander Wayne Jensen and SAL Detachment Commander Steve Meyer on the stage at the Legion Convention.  All 3 of us feel strongly that working together as Legion Family is so important! 

Our Auxiliary theme for the year is "Working Together...for Veterans and our Organization"  I really hope that everyone will embrace this theme and truly work together with the Legion & SAL. 

This year is about US as a group!  It is about what we can do for our veterans, out active duty military and their families.  Its about bridging the generation gap in our organization.  Its about getting our juniors involved. 

I may be your president, but I am still a proud unit member and the daughter of a veteran.  I want to work with you, side-by-side. 

I am grateful that my dad wanted us to be members of the Auxiliary.   What a great experience it has been and contiunes to be!
